Feel free to get in touch if you cannot find an answer to your question - contact@edenfoothealthcare.co.uk
No, you don't. If you struggle to cut your nails, are diabetic, or have any concerns or discomfort with your feet or nails, you are welcome to get in touch. I would be happy to discuss your needs and answer your questions before booking you in if required.
There is absolutely no need to be embarrassed about your feet - there is no judgement here. I have seen and treated many feet and many different problems. No matter how bad they are, I am happy to help and you will be leaving your appointment happier, more comfortable and free from embarrassment.
Please make a note of:
Comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your feet and lower limbs, along with footwear that is comfortable and easy to remove and put back on are advisable.
Socks are also recommended to stop you slipping after your appointment, as moisturiser is applied at the end of the treatment.
The length of an appointment is dependent on the treatment necessary and how much time is required to carry out the treatment to meet your individual needs (there are occasions when it may not take as long as the time allocated). It also varies according to the type of appointment you book - please see the 'PRICES' tab for further details of the different appointments available.
Please allow an additional 5 minutes to the quoted time for all appointments to a cover payment and to rebook (if required).
This is dependent on the type and amount of treatment that is required at your first appointment. All areas of concern / pain will be dealt with as a priority at your appointment within the allocated time.
If the issue can be dealt with in one appointment, then you are not obliged to attend a further appointment, However, if it is felt that further treatment is still needed to address everything, or if a follow up appointment is required, this will be discussed with you and a further appropriate appointment made.
It is suggested that diabetic patients visit 6 weekly and other patients 6-8 weekly. However, this is dependent on each individual and their foot care needs. Your needs will be discussed and agreed with you at your appointment.
Payment by cash or bank transfer are requested. Bank details will be provided in your appointment confirmation email.
Yes of course, though as much notice as possible would be appreciated.
There is no charge to change or cancel your appointment, provided at least a full 24 hours notice prior to your actual appointment time is given by way of text or call (rather than email).
If less than the required notice is given, or if the appointment is missed, it is sadly too late for me to fill the appointment and as a result, the full appointment fee will be charged.
I do however understand that some missed appointments are due to unpredicted circumstances or those out of your control, so please discuss your reasons with me for consideration and a discretionary decision will be made.
Absolutely! All instruments are cleaned and sterilised after each use. A new pair of gloves for each patient are worn throughout the treatment and the clinic chair is wiped down after each patient between appointments.
All equipment, surfaces and the floor are cleaned at the end and beginning of each Clinic day.
Yes, there is onsite parking. You are asked to park low down on either the left or right hand side of the driveway. There is a turning corner to make it possible for you to turn your car around and exit the driveway facing forwards.
The driveway and entrance is loose stone. Current patients using mobility scooters find they are able to comfortably use their scooters on the driveway and to gain access. However, this is not possible for wheelchair users. Also, access to the clinic is up a step (grab rail available), with another step to get over the threshold.
